Along with DIABLO’s impressive blades and router bits, comes the new sanding discs. lets see what they feature and what makes them stand out.
The sanding disc out of the box was able to attach perfectly to my sanders, but if there are any issues, the package came with an application pad, making your life easier.
DIABLO states that these pads can last up to 10x the life of an ordinary sanding disc and that’s largely thanks to the ability to blow them out to prevent clogging. The entire disc is essentially a mesh without any designated cut out holes for vacuum dust collection. Instead, the entire work surface becomes a patent dust collector. From my experience, I’ve noticed this helps with keeping the surface of the pad cool to prevent melting.
The flexibility is another aspect of the pad’s design that I really appreciated. It makes for a comfortable abrasive pad to be able to manipulate shape and design to get into the hard to reach areas.
